Church of Sant’Agostino


Former Church and Monastery of the Sant\'Agostino Hermitage. It is a 15th century building, located in the central square IX Aprile of Taormina In 1486 the Taormines built a church in honour of San Sebastiano, which later in 1530 came together with the Monastery of the Augustinian Friars. After the unification of Italy, the building was expropriated and in 1981 it was restructured. Since 1993 it has been the location of the Municipal Library and is also a multifunctional hall.



Positioned in Piazza IX aprile inside a historic building from the 15th century , the ex Chiesa e Convento degli Eremiti di S. Agostino is used as a public library
